Engagement Story
The Enclave has always sought a "purer" humanity. Using their vertibird technology, they have managed to rapidly deploy forces and consistently maintain control in many parts of the wasteland.
After multiple setbacks in conflicts with both local wastelanders as well as the Brotherhood of Steel, remnants of the Enclave have been setting up operations around Berger Settlement, using its rich resources as a staging ground for further assaults on the Brotherhood. Frustrated by the local Trade Guild's unwillingness to comply with their needs, the Enclave has mostly turned to the black Market for supplies. They threaten to wipe out the local inhabitants of Berger Settlement and claim all resources for themselves.
All that stands in their way is the Brotherhood of Steel. Since coming to Berger Settlement, the Brotherhood of Steel have acted as a protectorate for the local community. They assist with the defense against raiders, mutants, and other dangers while also researching local salvaged technology.
The Brotherhood, supported by the local Trade Guild, has been stockpiling the best weapons that can be found, as well as recruiting and training new soldiers. Their goal is to defend this land against Enclave attack long enough to study all of the regions technological wonders. Afterward, they will move on in search of new technology.
Currently, a battleground has been carved out away from the inhabitants of Berger Settlement with skirmishes breaking out all over the region. Eventually, however, Berger Settlement will have no choice but to endure the War.
Engagement Details
Factions:
Brotherhood of Steel - Desert Tan
Enclave - Woodland BDU
Objectives:
Each side will engage in a mission-based engagement where a commander will issue discretionary missions against the other team in an effort to score more points and win the day.
While performing missions, both teams will be scouting the local areas around Berger settlement for key schematics regarding parts of the Vertibird
Engagement Result:
The Enclave use "Vertibirds" which are Osprey-like helicopters to rapidly deploy troops across the wasteland. If the Enclave win the day, they will begin Operation Aftermath 2 with one of the field's gun trucks to be used as a Vertibird during the event.
If the Brotherhood of Steel win the day, the Vertibird will begin the game disabled and in need of repair, and the Enclave will have to work to repair it before it can begin operations. This is a lengthy and time consuming task and will cause the vertibird to miss a significant portion of the first day, even under the best circumstances.
actual gun truck may vary
